Martha Brashears 
Martha was born in 1658 in Nansemond,Virginia. Martha's father was Benjamin Brashears and her mother was Mary Jones. Her paternal grandparents were Robert Brassieur and Elizabeth Fowke; her maternal grandparents were William Jones and Dorothy Cager. She had three brothers and four sisters, named Robert, Benjamin, John, Mary, Ann, Elizabeth and Susannah. She was the youngest of the eight children.-
