Sarah Jane Bass 
Sarah Jane was born on July 27th, 1844. Sarah Jane's father was Fineas Ewing Bass and her mother was Indiana Powers. Her maternal grandparents were Marsham (Massa) Powers and Jane Holmes. She had two sisters named Malissa Caroline and Margaret Angeline. She was the oldest of the three children. She died at the age of 82 on December 25th, 1926. She was buried in Log Creek Cem. Pike Co. Indiana.-

Sarah Jane and Peter were married in a religious ceremony on March 25th, 1864. They had four sons and two daughters, named Luther, Wayne, Louis, John, Martha and Mary India.

Luther was born in 1881. He died at the age of 84 on May 18th, 1965 in Evansville Hosp. Indiana. He was buried in had 11 gr ch,16 gr gr ch.
