John and Clarissa were married in a religious ceremony in 1799 in NY. They had five sons and six daughters, and also a child of unknown gender, named Aseph, Walter M., Worthy, Samuel, John F., Clarissa Arvilla, Laura, Lydia S., Agnes Sophia, Cynthia L., Lodema and Twin.
