General Notes

Athaliah is the daughter of Ahad, the granddaughter of Omri (II Kings 8:26 and II Chronicles 21:6).  When she learned her son King Ahaziah, was dead, she killed all the heirs to the throne of Judah except Joash.  She ruled Judah for six years (II Kings 11:1-16).
