Adele, Princess of France was born about 0998.1   Adele, Princess of France's father was Robert II, "The Pious", King of France and her mother was Susanna, Princess of Italy.  Her paternal grandparents were Hugh Capet, King of France and Adelaide of Poitou; her maternal grandparents were Berenger II, King of Italy and Willa, Princess of Tuscany. She had five half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Hugh, "Le Grand" of France, Henri I, King of France, Robert I, Duke of Burgundy, Baudouin IV, "Le Barbu", Count of Flandre, Eudes, Count of Cambrai, Constance, Princess of France and Matilda.  She died in 1079 in Monastere de l'Ordre de St Benoist,Messines,France.1

‌Adele, Princess of France and Baldwin V, "Le Debonnaire", Count of Flanders were married in a religious ceremony in 1028.1   They had four sons and two daughters, named Baudouin VI, Count of Flandre, Robert I, Count of Flandre, Henry, Baldwin VI, Count of Flanders, Matilda of Flanders and Judith, Countess of Northumbria.
