‌Nicolas and Marie-Anne were married in a religious ceremony on January 17th, 1757 in Berthier, Quebec.¹   They had two sons and seven daughters, named Gabriel, Francois Vanasse, Angelique, Appoline, Jean Baptiste, Madeleine, Marguerite, Marie Anne and Marie Josephte.
