Isabel was born about 1179 in Lincolnshire, England. Isabel's father was Geoffrey De Neville and her mother was Emma De Bulmer. Her paternal grandparents were Geoffrey De Neville and UNKNOWN Philicia; her maternal grandparents were Bertram De Bulmer and Emma Fossard. She was an only child. She died about 1254.General Notes
This great heiress, Isabel de Nevill, m. Robert Fitz-Maldred, the Saxon, Lord of Raby, in the bishopric of Durham, and had a son, Geoffrey, who, adopting his maternal surname and inheriting the estates, became Geoffrey de Nevill.
