Robert De Grey 
Robert was born about 1209 in Rotherfield, Oxfordshire, England. Robert's father was Henry De Grey and his mother was Isolda De Bardolf. His paternal grandfather was Richard De Grey; his maternal grandparents were Hugh De Bardolf and Isobel Aquillon. He was an only child.General Notes
Robert de Grey, 4th son of Henry de Grey, of Thurrock, obtained from his brother, Walder de Grey, Archbishop of York, a gift of the major part of the lordship of Rotherfield, co. Oxford.
