Martin was born on July 12th, 1639 in Quebec, Quebec, PQ, Canada.1 Martin's father was Jean Cote and his mother was Marie Anne Martin. His paternal grandparents were Abraham Cote and Francoise Genevieve Loisel; his maternal grandparents were Jean Montpelier Dit Martin and Isabelle Cote. He had four brothers and a sister, named Louis, Mathieu, Jean, Noel and Simone. He died at the age of 71 on August 30th, 1710 in St Pierre, Ile D'orleans, Quebec. He was buried in St-Pierre I.O., Montmorency, PQ, Canada.1 -
