Marie-Angelique was born about 1739 in Probably Region Of Berthier-En-Haut, Quebec Province, Canada.1   Marie-Angelique's father was Francois Boucher and her mother was Genevieve Joly Dit Delbec.  Her paternal grandparents were Charles Boucher and Marguerite-Agnes Pelletier; her maternal grandparents were Pierre Delbec Dit Joly and Genevieve Terillon. She had six brothers and two sisters, named Charles Francois, Francois Marie, Antoine, Alexis, Francois, Joseph, Marie Genevieve and Marie Madeleine.  She was the youngest of the nine children.

‌Marie-Angelique and Antoine were married in a religious ceremony on February 5th, 1759 in Berthier, Quebec, Canada.1   They had a son and a daughter, named Antoine and Marie-Angelique-Rose.
