Henry II of England, known as Curt Mantel, was born in Le Mans, Sarthe, France.¹   He died  due to assassinated on July 6th, 1189 in Chinon, Indre-et Loire, France.  He was buried on July 8th, 1189 in Fontevrault Abbey, Fontevrault, Maine-et-Loire, France.²
