Charles II, known as "The Bald", was born on June 13th, 0823 in , Frankfurt, Hessen-Nassau, Prussia.  He died at the age of 54 on October 6th, 0877 in Brides Les Bains, Bourgogne.  He was buried in St denis, , France.
