Juliane De was born about 1165 in Ashby, Buckingham, England.  Juliane De's father was Alberic (Aubrey) II Of Dammartin and her mother was Matilda (Maud Mahaut) Of Ponthieu.  Her paternal grandparents were Alberic (Aubrey) I De Dammartin Count of Dammartin and Joan Basset; her maternal grandparents were Renaud II De Clermont Count of Clermont and Clemence De Bar-Le-Duc. She had a brother and a sister, named Simon II Of Aumale De and Agnes De.  She was the oldest of the three children.  She died about 1238.
