Cornelius Conkling 
Cornelius was born about 1636 in Kings, Swineford, Staffordshire, England. Cornelius' father was Ananias Conkling and his mother was Mary Lavender. His paternal grandparents were William Conkling and Ruth Hedges. He had five brothers and two sisters, named John, Jeremiah, Benjamin, Lewis, Elisha, Mary and Hester. He was the fourth oldest of the eight children. He had a half-sister named Hester. He died on March 21st, 1668 in Salem, Essex, Massachusetts.-
