Margaret was born about 1502 in Brightley, Devonshire, England. Margaret's father was John Cobleigh and her mother was Jane Fortescue. Her paternal grandparents were John Cobleigh and Alice Cocksworthy; her maternal grandparents were William Fortescue and Elizabeth deChampernowne. She was an only child. She died in 1547.-
