John I Berkeley 
John I was born in 1310 in Coston, Leicestershire, England. John I's father was Thomas III Berkeley and his mother was Isabel Hamelin. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Berkeley and Joan de Ferrers; his maternal grandparents were John Hamelin Sir and Matilda Erdington. He was an only child. He died at the age of 46 in 1356.General Notes
