Elizabeth de was born in 1313 in Badlesmere Castle.  Elizabeth de's father was Bartholomew deBadlesmere V Lord Badlesmere and her mother was Margaret deClare.  Her paternal grandparents were Gunceline deBadlesmere Baron Badlesmere and Joan FitzBernard; her maternal grandparents were Thomas deClare and Julian FitzMaurice. She had a half-brother and two half-sisters, named Guncelin de, Elizabeth and Margery.  She died at the age of 43 on June 8th, 1356.  She was buried in Black Friars, England.
