William JONES

William was born in 1829.  William's father was Thomas JONES and his mother was Hannah PAINE.  His paternal grandparents were Thomas JONES and Mrs. Ann JONES; his maternal grandparents were Thomas John PAINE (PAYNE) and Martha Hannah HACKET. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Reuben, Thomas, Benjamin, Susannah, Mary Ann and Elizabeth.  He was the oldest of the seven children.
