Mary Ann was born on May 9th, 1836 in CLEOBURY, MORTIMER, ENGLAND. Mary Ann's father was Thomas JONES and her mother was Hannah PAINE. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas JONES and Mrs. Ann JONES; her maternal grandparents were Thomas John PAINE (PAYNE) and Martha Hannah HACKET. She had four brothers and two sisters, named William, Reuben, Thomas, Benjamin, Susannah and Elizabeth. She was the fourth oldest of the seven children. She died at the age of 88 on April 26th, 1925 in FORT APACHE, NAVAJO, AZ.
‌Mary Ann and Edmund Lovell were married in a religious ceremony on November 10th, 1856 in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake Cty, UT.
