Alfred Charles was born on May 16th, 1862. Alfred Charles' father was Charles CRISMON and his mother was Louisa Christine BISCHOFF. His paternal grandparents were George CHRISMON and Elizabeth HAGLER; his maternal grandparents were Christian BISCHOFF and Johanne Marie RASMUSSEN. He had seven brothers and four sisters, named Ernest, Oscar, Joseph Benjamin, David, Herman Eugene, Charles "B", George Franklin, Josephine Louvina, Nettie May, Ada Amanda and Louisa Alexandria. He was the oldest of the twelve children. He had nine half-brothers and fourteen half-sisters, named George C., James, Charles, John Franklin, Walter Scott, Oliver, Fredrick Wilcox, Herbert John, Carl, Marthajane, Esther Ann, Samantha, Mary Ann, Emily Precinda, Ellen, Cynthia, Annie Eliza, Elizabeth, Mary Adeline, Clara Louise, Della Gertrude, Nellie and Annie Telula.-
