Ansegisal of was born about 0602 in Ansgise (Rhine-Westphalia) and his baptism took place in Metz - son of Arnulf.1 He had two brothers named Clodoule of and Walchigise Comte. He was the second oldest of the three children. He died in 0685 in Siegburg; murdered.1 General Notes
