Hedwig of was born in 1171 in of,Andechs,Oberbayern,, Bavaria,,,.1   Hedwig of's father was Berthold of III Andechs-Meranien and her mother was Agnes Von Rochlitz GROITZSCH.  Her paternal grandparents were Berthold of Istrien and Hedwig of Wittlesbach; her maternal grandparents were Dedo V Von Rochlitz GROITZSCH and Mathilde Von HEINSBERG. She had a brother and two sisters, named Otto of I, Miss Princess of and Gertrude Countess Of.  She was the second oldest of the four children.  She died at the age of 72 on October 15th, 1243 in Trzebnica,Wroclaw,,Poland,,,.1
