ELIZABETH was born on August 7th, 1282 in Rhuddlan Castle, Flintshire, Wales.1   ELIZABETH's father was EDWARD I "Longshanks" KING de ENGLAND and her mother was ELEANOR (Countess) de CASTILE.  Her paternal grandparents were HENRY III KING de ENGLAND and ELEANOR de PROVENCE; her maternal grandparents were FERNANDO III 'The Saint" KING de CASTILE and JEANNE (Juana) de DAMMARTIN. She had four brothers and nine sisters, named JOHN 1st LORD, Henry, Alfonso, EDWARD II KING, ELEANOR, Julian, JOAN PLANTAGENET, Margaret, Berengaria, Beatrice, Blanche, Mary and Alice. She had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named THOMAS (Earl), EDMUND EARL de KENT and Eleanor.  She died at the age of 33 on May 5th, 1316 in Quendon, Essex, England.1
