EDWARD II KING was born on April 25th, 1284 in Caernarvon Castle, Caernarvonshire, Wales.1   EDWARD II KING's father was EDWARD I "Longshanks" KING de ENGLAND and his mother was ELEANOR (Countess) de CASTILE.  His paternal grandparents were HENRY III KING de ENGLAND and ELEANOR de PROVENCE; his maternal grandparents were FERNANDO III 'The Saint" KING de CASTILE and JEANNE (Juana) de DAMMARTIN. He had three brothers and ten sisters, named JOHN 1st LORD, Henry, Alfonso, ELEANOR, Julian, JOAN PLANTAGENET, Margaret, Berengaria, ELIZABETH, Beatrice, Blanche, Mary and Alice. He had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named THOMAS (Earl), EDMUND EARL de KENT and Eleanor.  He died at the age of 43 on September 21st, 1327 in Berkely Castle, Norfolkshire, England.1

‌EDWARD II KING and ISABELLA "The Fair" were married in a religious ceremony in Boulogne, Pas-de-Calais, France.1   They had two sons and two daughters, named EDWARD III KING, John de Eltham, Eleanor and Joan de Tower.
