PETER II COUNT was born in 1155 in Courtenay, Galinois, France.1   PETER II COUNT's father was PETER LORD de COURTENAY and his mother was ISABELLA (Elizabeth) de COURTENAY.  His paternal grandparents were Louis* VI "The Fat" King De France and ALICE (Adelaide) de MAURIENNE; his maternal grandparents were RENAUD SIGNEUR de COURTENAY and HAWISE de DONJON. He had a brother and a sister, named ROBERT I and ELIZABETH (Alice) LADY.  He was the oldest of the three children.  He died at the age of 64 in June 1219 in Epirus, Turkey.1 


PETER II COUNT's first family with YOLANDE (Countess) de FLANDERS

‌PETER II COUNT and YOLANDE (Countess) were married in a religious ceremony on June 1st, 1193.1   They had five sons and eight daughters, named BALDWIN II EMPEROR de, Philippe Margrave de Namur, Pierre (Priest), Robert I Emperor de Constantinople, Henry Margrave de Namur, YOLANDE Queen de Hungary, ELEANOR, Marguerite, Marie, Sibylle (Nun), Agnes, Constance (Nun) and Elizabeth.


PETER II COUNT's second family with AGNES COUNTESS de NEVERS

They had two daughters named MAUD (Countess) and CONSTANCE.
