George Goldthwate Yelverton 
George Goldthwate was born on August 16th, 1845 in Dale Co., AL.1 George Goldthwate's father was Gappa Talmadge Yelverton and his mother was Martha Brown Simmons. His maternal grandparents were William Burrell Simmons and Dority Henderson. He had three brothers and six sisters, named William Gappa, Henry Bryant, John Gappa, Frances Virginia, Narcissa Eugena, Mary Alabama, Martha Blanch, Christiana Eldies and Laura Elenor. He was the third oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 3 on July 14th, 1849 in Coffee Co., AL.1 -
