Louisiana Wood 
Louisiana was born on August 22nd, 1852 in Coosa Co., AL.1 Louisiana's father was Commodore Decatur, Sr. Wood and her mother was Malinda Logan. Her paternal grandparents were James Wood and Mary Reneau; her maternal grandparents were Henry Logan and Martha Ann George. She had four brothers and three sisters, named James Henry, Richard, Comodore Decatur, Jr, Ellis, Mary Elizabeth, Martha Ann and Sarah Jane. She was the third youngest of the eight children. She had a half-brother named Elie. She died at the age of 86 in 1938 in Coosa Co., AL. She was buried in Providence Baptist Church Cemetery, Coosa Co., AL..1 1 General Notes
