"Mrs Ola. K. Massey, age 84, of Clanton died on January 21 at St. Vinson
(Vincent) hospital in Birmingham. A native of Chilton county, she was
born March 12, 1890. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Annie
Patterson, Clanton; two sons, Alford J. Massey, Birmingham, Windell
Massey, Fairfield; one daughter-in-law, Mrs. Mildred Massey, Fairfield;
one son-in-law, Marvis Kelley, Clanton; ten grandchildren, 18 great
grandchildren and two great-great granchildren. Services were held at
2:00 o'clock p.m. on January 23 at Liberty Hill Baptist Church with
interment held at the church cemetery. The Rev. Hyman Atcheson was the
officiating minister. Pallbearers were Snowy Melton, Leon Glenn, Charles
Martin, Charles Wilson, Hershal Patterson and James Roberts. Flower
ladies were he grand daughters." Chilton News dated January 30, 1975,

Osceola K. and Benjamin Franklin were married in a religious ceremony in AL.1 They had two sons and a daughter, named Alford J., Wendell and Ruth Kyle.
