Her paternal grandparents were Elihu* Wiggins and Margaret* Kinnard; her maternal grandparents were Jesse* Pugh and Lydia* Sims. She had three brothers and five sisters, named James* Elihu, Jesse Harrison, Mastin Bunyon, Jane, Elizabeth, Rhoda E., Margaret and Martha. She was the third oldest of the nine children. She had three half-brothers named James Elisheu, Mastin B. and Joseph James.-
