Abigail was born on August 22nd, 1739 in Northampton, Hampshire Co., Massachuetts.1 Abigail's father was Josiah Strong and her mother was Hannah SMEDLEY. Her paternal grandparents were Samuel STRONG and RUTH SHELDON. She had five brothers and two sisters, named Solomon, David, William, Joseph, Elijah, Hannah and Ruth. She had two half-brothers named Josiah and Ebenezer.-
