Susan Elizabeth Stough 
Susan Elizabeth was born on March 5th, 1830 in Upsom Co, GA.1 Susan Elizabeth's father was Simeon Thomas Stough and her mother was Matilda Petrey. Her maternal grandfather was William Petery. She had six brothers and four sisters, named Robert Washington, Michael Monroe, John B., Daniel Jackson, Simeon Calhoun, George Wesley, Martha Matilda, Sarah Ann, Adeline and Frances Jane. She was the second oldest of the eleven children. She died at the age of 31 on July 10th, 1861 in Lowndes Co., AL. She was buried in Rocky Mount Cemetery, Crenshaw Co., AL.1 1 
‌Susan Elizabeth and Turner Eldridge were married in a religious ceremony on September 23rd, 1852 in Lowndes Co., AL.1 They had two sons and a daughter, named Sorter Eli, Elmore Yancey and Georgia Ann.
