Rubin Steele

Rubin was born on September 17th, 1914.¹ Rubin's father was John D. Steele and his mother was Mary Elizabeth Kelley. His maternal grandparents were Reuben Myles Kelley and Nancy Elizabeth Gavin. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Leroy, Edward, Robert, Inez and Nora. He was the second youngest of the six children.
