Jack Griffin was born on November 28th, 1915 in St. Clair Co., AL.1 Jack Griffin's father was Hugh Griffin Spradley and his mother was Lula V. Barber. His paternal grandparents were Robert Dillard Spradley and Ann Lee Cox; his maternal grandparents were George Washing Barber and Dora Jessona Robertson. He had two brothers named James T. and Bert. He had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named James Thorton, Bennis and Nell. He died at the age of 3 on October 4th, 1919 in St. Clair Co., AL. He was buried in Mt. Saturday Oct. 4, at the home of his grandparents Mr. and Mrs. G. W.
Barber. The funeral was held at Eden cemetery and by Rev. I. L. Herring."
