Lida Skains

Lida was born on November 1st, 1885 in Union Parish, LA.¹   Lida's father was Thomas A. Skains and her mother was Bertha Honeycutt. She had two brothers and three sisters, named Caisie, Basil, Stella, Susie and Lula.  She was the second oldest of the six children.  She died at the age of 75 on February 15th, 1961 in Union Parish, LA.  She was buried in Mt. Nebo Methodist Ch. Cemetery, north of Downsville, Union Parish, LA.^1 1
