Noel Emerson Shoup 
Noel Emerson was born on September 11th, 1918 in Erath Co., TX.1 Noel Emerson's father was Arthur Warren Shoup and his mother was Lela Virgie Miller. His maternal grandparents were Henry Miller and Amanda Jane Castleberry. He had two brothers named Joseph Wayland and Calvin Arthur. He was the second oldest of the three children. He died at the age of 25 on February 28th, 1944 in Near Abbeville, France.1 General Notes

and crashed/exploded; www.303rdbga.com pictures his 359th crew and more
info about his military days. There was no burial, but a memorial marker
