Joseph T. was born about 1832 in Haversham Co., GA.1 Joseph T.'s father was Vincent Sears and his mother was Lundy Kimball. His paternal grandparents were Joseph S. Sears and Elizabeth Searles. He had four brothers and three sisters, named William Fletcher, Alfred S., Vincent F., R. W., Emily, Elizabeth and Mary Jane. He was the third oldest of the eight children. Lisa, I have Joseph T. Sears, b.1832 Habersham Co., d. 1869, shown as
husband of Sarah E. Moore of Hall Co. GA (our MORROW/MOORE line). He
could be a brother to your man. It's a possible clue for you. I have no
other info on this name. M. Morrow

Sears, Joseph T.- private July 24, 1862. Appointed 2nd Corporal November
1863. Roll dated February 29, 1864, last on file, shows him present. No
