Henry T. was born on October 9th, 1856 in Coosa Co., AL.1 Henry T.'s father was Owen Turner, Sr. Sears and his mother was Elizabeth M. Rush. His paternal grandparents were Anderson Sears and Martha (?); his maternal grandfather was Mr. Rush. He had two brothers and two sisters, named James A., Owen Turner, Jr., Martha A. and Margie. He was the third oldest of the five children. He died at the age of 44 on June 25th, 1901 in TX. He was buried in Waldrop Cemetery: located in the Brooks Community in Panola Co., TX about 2 miles northwest of Fairplay, TX.
