Bishop Harrison was born about 1804 in NC.1 Bishop Harrison's father was Joseph S. Sears and his mother was Elizabeth Searles. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Sears and Elizabeth (?); his maternal grandparents were Thomas Searles and Elizabeth (?). He had six brothers and a sister, named Wyatt, Vincent, Anderson, Alfred F., William, John A. and Frances. He was the fourth youngest of the eight children. He died in ?.1 General Notes
