Pleasant F. Rushing

Pleasant F. was born about 1855 in Pike Co., AL.¹   Pleasant F.'s father was William Cain Rushing and her mother was Mary Ann Rushing.  Her paternal grandparents were Mathew Malachi Rushing and Elizabeth Thornhill. She had seven brothers and four sisters, named Mathew M. (Mack), John Eager Howard, Thomas A., Joseph T., Solomon James, Stephen McDonald, Henry Oscar, Elizabeth Pheebe, Mary Jane, Susannah and Lucinda S..  She was the youngest of the twelve children. She had two half-sisters named Elizabeth and Minnie.  She died before 1879 in AL.¹
