Ida Elizabeth was born on December 19th, 1889 in Coffee Co., AL.1 Ida Elizabeth's father was Joseph Thomas Rushing and her mother was Hulda Rebecca Melvina Josephine Floyd. Her paternal grandparents were Mathew M. (Mack) Rushing and Sarah Jane Amerson; her maternal grandparents were Calvin Floyd and Hulda Adkison. She had six brothers and four sisters, named Mathew Calvin, Willie Lee, Charlie D., Frank Jefferson, Dan, Curtis Kirkland, Annie S., Lula Leola, Minnie and Nora Rebecca Lena Bell. She was the oldest of the eleven children. She died at the age of 81 on March 25th, 1971 in AL. She was buried in Fairview Cemetery, Coffee Co., AL..1 1 General Notes
