Temperance C. Rush 
Temperance C. was born about 1816 in GA.1 Temperance C.'s father was Mr. Rush. She had two sisters named Elizabeth M. and Francis Morris. She was the oldest of the three children. She died in 1890 in TX. She was buried in Waldrop Cemetery, Panola Co., TX.1 1 
Temperance C. and Thomas J. were married in a religious ceremony on December 21st, 1837 in Upson Co., GA.1 They had a son and two daughters, named John F., Frances and Amanda.
