His paternal grandparents were Charles Avent Rollins and Celeste Pauline Linton; his maternal grandparents were Jackson Stewart and Abbie McQueen. He had a brother and a sister, named Kenneth Stewart and Elise. He was the second oldest of the three children. He died at the age of 83 on July 3rd, 2001 in Washington, DC.1 -
