Jord Avent Rollins

Jord Avent was born on February 8th, 1892 in Alabama.¹ Jord Avent's father was Charles Avent Rollins and her mother was Celeste Pauline Linton. Her paternal grandparents were John W. Rollins (doctor) and Martha Anne Douglas. She had three brothers and five sisters, named Stacy Linton, Charles Edgar, Herbert Bryant, Tempie Ann, Ada Levena, Leonora, Kate Glen and Josie Alice. She was the third youngest of the nine children.
