Martha Powell 
Martha was born in 1839.1 Martha's father was Jessie Tucker Powell and her mother was Elizabeth Ann Garrett. Her paternal grandparents were Zaccheus Powell and Polly Sansom; her maternal grandparents were Robert* Jackson, Sr. Garrett and Mary* Ann Clackler. She had five brothers and two sisters, named Robert, William J, Thomas, John, James, Mary Ann and Sarah. She was the third oldest of the eight children.-
