Henry Jackson was born in 1820 in Wilkes, GA.1 Henry Jackson's father was Andrew Jackson Pody and his mother was Nancy Dudley. His paternal grandparents were Henry Pody and Mary (?). He had a brother and six sisters, named James, Elizabeth, Mary Ann, Frances, Rebecca, Nancy Jane and Mahala Catherine. He was the second oldest of the eight children. He died about 1870 in Coosa Co., AL.1 General Notes
