He had five brothers and five sisters, named Edward "The Black" Prince, LIONEL ANTWERP DUKE, King) de GAUNT (Duke, EDMUND (Earl) DUKE de YORK, William Plantagenet, Isabel Plantagenet, Blanche Plantagenet, Mary Plantagenet, Margaret Plantagenet and Joan Plantagenet.  He died on September 9th, 1397 in Calais, Pas de Calais, France.1
