Mary Emma Moody 
Mary Emma was born on July 22nd, 1862 in Troy, Pike Co., AL.1 Mary Emma's father was Theophilus Moody and her mother was Mary Jane Rushing. Her maternal grandparents were William Cain Rushing and Mary Ann Rushing. She had five brothers and a sister, named William McDonald, Thomas Nelson, Charles Wesley, John Theophilus, James Roger and Lucinda Elizabeth. She was the second oldest of the seven children.-
