John Theophilus Moody 
John Theophilus was born on July 25th, 1874 in Pike Co., AL.1 John Theophilus' father was Theophilus Moody and his mother was Mary Jane Rushing. His maternal grandparents were William Cain Rushing and Mary Ann Rushing. He had four brothers and two sisters, named William McDonald, Thomas Nelson, Charles Wesley, James Roger, Mary Emma and Lucinda Elizabeth. He was the second youngest of the seven children.
