Charles Jefferson Miller

Charles Jefferson was born on March 2nd, 1853 in Cherokee Co., GA.¹   Charles Jefferson's father was Henry Miller and his mother was Martha S. Bell.  His paternal grandparents were Charles Miller and Nancy (?). He had eight brothers and a sister, named James, Madison Allen, John Thomas, William R., Levie, Joshua A., Adolphus D., James Henry and Mary.  He was the fifth oldest of the ten children.  He died at the age of 85 on August 6th, 1938 in Coosa Co., AL.  He was buried in Liberty Hill Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, Coosa Co., AL..^1 1 

‌Charles Jefferson and Almeda K. were married in a religious ceremony on November 18th, 1875 in Rockford, Coosa Co., AL.¹   They had a son named James Kearney.
