William Franklin McEwen 
William Franklin was born on March 1st, 1851 in Douglas Co., GA.1 William Franklin's father was Alexander D. McEwen and his mother was Rhoda Payne. His paternal grandparents were James Hill McEwen and Martha Ann Snead. He had two brothers and two sisters, named John Thomas, Alexander Hamilton Stevens, Mary Melvina and Nancy Caroline. He was the youngest of the five children. He had a half-brother and three half-sisters, named James Pollard, Louisa Antoinette, Martha Elizabeth and Sarah Jane. He died at the age of 52 on May 24th, 1903 in Fulton Co., GA.1 General Notes
